Chegg Flashcards

There are many flashcard apps out there. This particular app allows you to easily make your own flashcards for any subject or dual credit class, or use sets that have been premade covering topics in chemistry, English, algebra, and history. As you study your flashcards, Chegg keeps track of your incorrect answers and the time it takes for you to answer correctly, giving you an accurate picture of what you need to keep working on and what you have mastered. Chegg allows you to easily add photos and diagrams to your cards and save your flashcard sets until the test is over, or indefinitely. They have ready-made flashcards for biology using Apologia, which is one of the texts used in Dual Credit at Home’s Study Plans.

iSource MLA

This handy app is a must have when you are writing a research paper. It keeps track of all of the sources you've used for your bibliography, and even helps you format them in MLA style. Your formatted entries are saved in one location for later use. iSource includes a guide to help you remember the most common source-citing rules, but it does assume you have a basic understanding of how to write a bibliography. This app is a real time-saver when you are writing multiple papers with many sources for each one.

There is a lot to remember in higher level math classes. This app stores over 100 different mathematical formulas covering algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and statistics. Now you really can do your math homework on the go. Bookmark your favorite formulas or the ones you have trouble remembering. Samples are provided for each formula.

National Geographic World Atlas

Compatible with: iPhone and iPad

Good maps are always important to have on hand when studying any subject. This app allows you to access maps from all over the world in high definition. You can view political boundaries, topography, roads, or satellite images. In addition you can access a country’s statistical information including population, flags, currency, and climate. A must have for all students.

This is our favorite app for organizing your school life. myHomework keeps track of dual credit studies, extracurricular activities, homework, tests, and service projects. It can be accessed offline and used with other applications. What’s more, the design is clean, beautiful, and easy to use. Relieve your school anxiety with this nifty tool.
